The best holidays were summer 2010, because I did many activities, I participate in Valparaiso`s Carnivals with The “Mendicantes”, it is a company of Street Theater, it was a “pasacalle”, very nice! Because I can socialize with other people, from kids until retirement age in the street, a festive atmosphere. Later I got back to Valpo for holidays, I went with my  friends during one week, We went round all hills, We took photographs with graffitis background, there were pictures very beautiful. Also, We went to pubs as “La Trova”, here it sold delicious Terremoto and it had good music, likewise to disco named “El Huevo”, it was gigant, and I remember just moment there are reporters of Megavision, they was recording about partys in Valpo, the following day We were in TV, our families or another friends called we. We ate Chorrillana in a restaurant, We were five people and it was tasty and enough. Later, We went to litoral, We were in Algarrobo, El Tabo, Costa Azul and Santo Domingo, there was good weather at beaches, finally We stayed in my “summer`s house” with my family (mather and grandmother).

social media

In fact I am not keen to technology. When my father gave me a new telephone, a Smartphone. I installed some applications of social media as Facebook and Whatsapp. I have used Facebook since two years, for to talk my friends, I find out about culture events and show information about me: pictures, music, articles…the things that likes me, it is a site where you can meet more someone. I checked it only my computer, but now I can do everywhere for wifi in telephone, so when I am boring, I see Facebook.  I recognize that I am fan of Whatsapp, because I can chat with my friends, it is amusing to write fast. But, I don`t interesting another systems of social communications for internet, because I prefer to get together with people at house, in pubs or discos. I think that to talk for internet is a cold communication, distant, very sedentary, because you are alone opposite to screen, sometimes you see people through cam, but is different share with friends of direct form, to laugh together.

I had many activities during first term. I have had to process or to appeal a reduction tariff, from March to now, it is an unpleasant situation, because I went to MINEDUC, SERNAC and other places, I think that it is eternal bureaucracy. On April, I finished a basic German course in Goethe Institute, at the same time I started a Performance workshop by Gonzalo Rabanal in an “okupa” house, because I like this art and I am writing my thesis about it. Then, I took a Physical Theatre workshop every Saturdays in the morning, it was an oriental training, from Bali, Indian and Japan, in “La Máquina del Arte”, near Parque Bustamante. Later, both workshops ended on June. Also, I worked in Centro Cultural Palacio La Moneda, I did internship about cultural management with Marco Llerena, he was director of expositions, I was there two months, I learned about museum and public relations, it was a good experience. Thus, last semester was very dispersed.

something about Darwinian theory

Denis Dutton talks about the question “ What is beauty?”, he says the people like things as Starry Night by Van Gogh, plays of Chejov, novels, etc. withouth to know why. Then, Denis answers based in Darwinian Theory, because the experience of beauty derives of Darwinian adaptions in human evolution, specifically in two mechanisms: natural selection and sexual selection. The first explains our tastes, fears and pleasures. The second is for survival and reproduction.
Also, the interest for landscapes because this is a visual experience fascinating.
Finally he refers to art, it began in Prehistory with the earlist human artworks, for example cave paintings or sculptures. The skills, symmetry and materials, in tools is not for hunt or attack, so these objetcs are works of art. Our aesthetics points of view came from thousands of years, therefore we like this prehistoric pieces.

I agree with Denis that our tastes are conditioned by the culture in which we live, because sometimes is inexplicable the universal aesthetic, I understand it´s something genetic with the Darwinian theory. Although, I think the subjectivity is different for each one, if we like the same things, and it wouldn´t be cultural diversity in the world.
In my case, the food is a problem for me, I am “mañosa” (I´m sorry I couldn´t translate), I don´t like chocolate, but most people love it.

idle?

This obsession of Frank is too curious, I think that to collect secrets is to be attentive of the people all time, until he has a tower of postcards is really an action excessive. I recognize laugh with some sentences, as "One of these men is the father of my son. He pays me a lot to keep it a secret", it is very funny because Frank show a collage with famous face cuttings, most people are actors, then the situation is unreal, maybe utopian. The rest was boring, besides I hate when the "gringos" speaks about  9/11, because it is a discourse repeated with intention of to nourish the American nationalism, above all in young people. In short, the video isn´t bad, but this  isn´t interesting for me, in my opinion Frank should go to psychologist.

Pina Bausch was a german dancer, her legacy was to install the concept of "dancetheater" in the scenics arts. She was a important director and coreographer dance, her company Tanztheater Wuppertal is recognized by the works: Café Müller and The Rite of Spring.
In 2009 Pina created "Como el musguito en la piedra ay si si si" , this piece was last work, since she died of cancer in the middle of development, so the work was incomplete until the dancers decide to resolve the end. After, it showed in Festival Internacional de Teatro Santiago a Mil 2010. I saw in Teatro Municipal "by far" because I paid for asient in gallery of Theater. The Title is a song by Violeta Parra, the piece had topics relating Chile culture. It was nice spectacle, but was evident the absence of direction of Pina in the end.
This year, in summer, the film Pina 3D was on GAM (Cnetro Cultural Gabriela Mistral), a documentary by Wenders about Pina Bausch, as she died two days before shooting, he interviews her company to assemble the tribute to Pina.
